This February we invite you to come celebrate the past, present, and future as YEBIES has its inaugural Black History Month semiformal affair. As we get ready to relaunch the new site, this night of fun and camaraderie is in memory of the 1920's renaissance and the culture and style it cultivated and left us with. We felt inspired by the great events of the past held at the legendary Cotton Club, Savoy Ballroom, and venues alike from Harlem, New York to Washington DC to bring you this special occasion.  So come out ready to dance, network, drink, socialize, and most importantly have fun. This will definitely be a night to remember as we take a trip back in time!

Background of YEBIES: Started in the summer of 2008 as a blog, YEBies has turned into a online hub for the young progressive mind of the future. YEBies is a multi-faceted movement that strives to carry on the legacy of those who paved the way for us in a innovative way that links the overall diaspora of great minds. 

Live music will be provided by the great Section 8 Band throughout the night as well as DCtoBC's official DJ, DJ Spicoli on the 1's and 2's

Dress Code: Semiformal attire is required. Leave the jeans and casual wear at home for the night as we get suited and booted for a great cause.
